This is how I felt today. I saved a bunch of work RIGHT BEFORE THE CK CRASHED.

Long discussion on quests, fetch quests, quest archetypes (they're not as technical as they sound), and some other stuff. It's interesting. Give it a read. I promise you probably won't regret it, maybe.
Jac has joined the site as an editor and writer. He's well-versed in writing about technical processes and keeping things concise, and has knowledge in the CK and scripting. He'll be editing some tutorials that need more fleshing out or information, or correction of errors (I'm looking at you, Custom Follower Tutorial).
He's got free rein to edit, or add new posts, to the site. So you'll be seeing some things from him soon! I'd just like to tell you guys about a new site that got started by a friend of mine. It's called DragonStone Mods and it's a site built on the same platform as the Nexus. It's got a similar goal, with a few more features. It allows you to upload mods, download mods, chat, and it has a forum pretty similar to the Nexus Forums. However, it's only for Skyrim currently.
I'll definitely stay on the Nexus, but this will be a mirror location for me in the future where I'll also be helping people out, so I recommend you take a look. So while in a lesson for Teacher/Student Program, my student and I discovered something that was tripping us up. When testing the Story Manager node, Increase Level, is necessary for you to actually level up in the skill menu. Might have seemed obvious, but the game does not count the level up UNTIL you have entered the skill menu and leveled up there.
SetLevel (Console Command) also does not work. You can set your level to 19 and then AdvanceSkill (Console Command), but you cannot set your level to 20; if you're trying to get the game to register you as increasing your level to 20. Hey, I'm back to the Skyrim Posts section! I kind of forgot about it. Anyway, I'd just like to recommend another place aside from the Nexus Forums. The Nexus Forums are great and full of questions about speaking to chickens, but there is another place. It's called the Bethesda Forums, specifically The Creation Kit section. There are a lot of very talented modders there, and while less updated than the Nexus Forums I've gotten great answers within minutes, so definitely take a look there too. Update 2: Simple Taxes is out, look in the My Other Content section. Just another post about me messing around with the Creation Kit and Papyrus and utterly failing. Miserably. (But then fixing it.)
And now I discuss the age-old question (actually, it's not nearly that old of a question): Where will the next Elder Scrolls game be? Actually, this is my take on where it should be, not where I think it will be. After all, I'll probably be wrong. But if you'd like to hear my opinion, then read on.
Every time I open up Skyrim, I'm excited. I finally get to take a break from modding, right? Well... No, not exactly.
At first I thought this might be an article, but it doesn't pertain specifically to the CK. Though I might include part of this in an article especially tailored towards modders (those who create mods). This is about first impressions in Skyrim, whether it's through a mod page, or a blog page, or some guy's annoying, nasally voice telling you that you don't get to the Cloud District often, which is a lie, since you're standing in it right now. This is clearly a promising start to a fantastic post (probably a lie, too). So read on!
