Every time I open up Skyrim, I'm excited. I finally get to take a break from modding, right? Well... No, not exactly.
I'm currently working on a mod called the Quest Compilation, which takes up a lot of my time. I'll add a few mods to Skyrim, get ready to play, and then find a note-to-self reminding me to do something in my mod. So I do it. I open up the CK, it crashes, I open it up again (it probably crashes again) and then I make the edit and close it.
So I get ready to run SKSE and start my game. Miraculously, it starts without a hitch, unlike the CK. I start up a new game, or load my game, and can't resist heading over to one of the quests in my mod (since it's loaded). I talk to the NPC, and hear the voice-acting. Suddenly, I realize it's too quiet.
That won't do. So I close SKSE, open up the CK several times until it works, and fix it. And then I go back to Skyrim. I see another problem, I fix it, and it goes on.
Eventually, all the problems are fixed. I load up Skyrim, and I don't want to play it. Tomorrow, the process starts all over again.
Are you a modder? Do you feel like your mod is always a priority over playing the game? Tell me in the comments.
