This tutorial is quite simple, and will cover how you can fill properties. Properties are variables that can be filled with values externally - so, you could make a property reference Nazeem. Variables can't do this without some function or property that contains the value already. Properties are useless, however, without being filled. Without being filled, they don't mean anything. So, this tutorial will tell you how to make them mean something.
This tutorial assumes you've already got a script with properties set up.
This tutorial assumes you've already got a script with properties set up.
So, you've got a script all compiled and ready. It's attached to an object in the Creation Kit, but the properties aren't filled.
First, you've got to get back to the CK. Exit any script editor you may have open, provided you've compiled your script. Find the object that your script is on, and navigate to the big Properties button by your script. Click it hard. Or softly. Your choice, really.

A new window will pop up, containing all the properties within your script. As yet, they are unfilled.
In this example, we have two properties. One is called PlayerREF, which is an actual name of an Actor in the game. It's the exact EditorID of the Player Actor. Thus, it can be auto-filled. This means that the CK knows what it should point to, and you can just tell it to auto-fill and it will automatically fill the property with the Player Actor (in this case). You can click the Auto-Fill All button near the bottom to auto-fill all properties that CAN be auto-filled, or you can click on an individual property and then press the Auto-Fill button.
Our other property, BleakFallsBarrow, is not the name of an actual ObjectReference in the game. So we'll have to manually fill it. Click on your property that you want to manually fill, and choose the right entry from the dropdown:

(It may say something different - ObjectReferences fill differently than other properties.)
Once you've selected the right entry, press OK to close the Properties window. Your property has been filled. Repeat as necessary for all properties.
